Slovenia Women Entrepreneurs Meeting
500 Business Women 2026 | Ljubljana
19 – 20 May 2026 | Gospodarsko razstavišče Exhibition Centre
Dear Ladies,
On behalf of the Slovenian business women community, we are pleased to invite you
to participate in our traditional annual event 500 PODJETNIC / 500 Business Women,
which will take place on May 19–20, 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
This is the largest gathering dedicated to women entrepreneurs in this part of Europe,
bringing together more than 500 business owners each year, primarily from
the small and medium-sized enterprise sector. Participants regularly join us from
Slovenia, Austria, Italy, and Croatia, and last year we were honored to welcome entrepreneurs
from Turkey (Izmir and Istanbul).
With this invitation, we express our sincere intention to strengthen and develop
long-term cooperation between Slovenian and Turkish women entrepreneurs.
This Year’s Theme
Your Resilience. Your Future. In today’s business environment, resilience is no longer only about financial stability. It encompasses mental flexibility, strategic adaptation, technological readiness, and the ability to cooperate internationally.
The 2026 theme explores how entrepreneurs grow stronger through uncertainty, how they respond to rapid technological change and artificial intelligence, and how they strategically shape their future.
Why 500 Podjetnic?
This event goes beyond a traditional conference format. The program is designed to create real business connections through: Pre-arranged business matchmaking meetings Structured networking sessions Small-group discussions Direct interaction with active entrepreneurs from multiple European countries. The focus is practical, international, and relationship-oriented.
Why Slovenia?
Slovenia is a small yet highly outward-oriented economy located at the heart of Europe. As a member of the European Union and the Eurozone, it holds a strategic position
within regional business networks. Ljubljana, the capital city, offers a compact, accessible, and well-organized business environment — allowing visitors to experience European business culture without the complexity of large metropolitan centers.
Here, you can:
- Experience European market dynamics first-hand
- Observe how small economies operate in an agile and internationally connected manner
- Establish contacts within the EU business ecosystem
- Build partnerships in a focused and manageable environment
There is a significant difference between analyzing Europe from a distance and experiencing
it directly
